TRAINING/ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY FRAMEWORK <br /> Purpos : The t aining committee will develop a plan to p ovide t aining to policymake s, <br /> manage s, staff, boa ds and commission membe s, community pa the s, and the gene al <br /> public to build capacity to advance acial equity and to embed acial equity into countywide <br /> systems. <br /> 1. Each organization should id ntify th following prior to providing racial quity training: <br /> a. O ganization's acial equity vision — this will allow the o ganization to <br /> dete mine how the t aining can align with and make p og ess towa d the <br /> ove all equity vision. <br /> b. Pu pose of the t aining <br /> c. T aining goals <br /> d. Assessment of what has al eady been done, such as policy evisions and <br /> p evious t ainings including the content,focus, and pe spectives of p evious <br /> t ainings. <br /> e. Next steps afte t aining and who is esponsible fo moving those effo is fo wa d. <br /> 2. Qu stions to ask prior to training: <br /> a. What is the staff's capacity to take on this t aining and time commitment? <br /> b. Does the o ganizational cultu a suppo t candid conve sations a ound ace and equity? <br /> See O ganizational Capacity section below. <br /> c.
