Discussion on the Orange County Food Council and Next Steps <br /> 7 The Board received a progress report from the Orange County Food Council regarding its work <br /> 8 from 2019 through spring 2022 and discussed next steps. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 BACKGROUND: The Food Council Coordinator was hired in July 2019. This new Coordinator <br /> 11 position was established through an inter-local agreement process and is jointly funded by <br /> 12 Orange County, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough and Carrboro. The Coordinator is charged with <br /> 13 coordinating the Food Council and helping it achieve its goals.
