She said that Lee Pavao talked about the importance of legacy at the <br /> end of his life. She said Lee Pavao left a legacy of the gift of his time and service and belief in <br /> government. She said Lee Pavao had a love of Orange County that he wore proudly. She said <br /> he had a love of seniors and visitors. She said that it wasn't just love, it was also smart <br /> economic development for visitors to come to Orange County and spend money. She said it <br /> gives her pride and honor to keep his legacy alive. She introduced Lee Pavao's partner Cathy <br /> Porter. <br /> Cathy Porter said thank you on behalf of the family and that it was nice for Lee Pavao to <br /> be remembered. <br /> Chair Price said that Lee Pavao was a wonderful person with a contagious energy, and <br /> that he brought magic to a room. <br /> 7. Minutes <br /> The Board will consider corrections and/or approval of the draft minutes for the April 5, 2022 <br /> and April 12, 2022 Board of County Commissioners meetings. <br /> b. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board will consider adoption of a resolution to release motor vehicle property tax values for <br /> seven taxpayers with a total of seven bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board will consider adoption of a resolution to release property tax values for four <br /> taxpayers with a total of six bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> d. Application for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br /> The Board will consider one untimely application for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem <br /> taxation for one bill for the 2021 tax year. <br /> e. Older Americans Month Proclamation <br /> The Board will consider approving a proclamation joining Federal and State governments in <br /> designating the month of May as Older Americans Month and a time to honor older adults for <br /> their contributions to the community. <br />
