She thanked the <br /> Board of Commissioners for their leadership and said the Board helped staff create a better <br /> county. <br /> Chair Price said the Board will have opportunities to discuss the budget. She asked if <br /> there were any questions regarding the presentation. <br /> Commissioner McKee asked if the decrease in students for Chapel Hill Carrboro City <br /> Schools of 982 shown on slide #13 was correct. <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said the correct number is 909, accounting for out of district <br /> transfers to the school system as well as the number of children enrolled in charter schools. <br /> Commissioner McKee said it caught his eye because it is a 9% decrease. <br />
