Approval of Contract Accepting Housing Staff Grant Funding from the Foundation for <br /> Health Leadership and Innovation <br /> The Board approved a contract accepting a grant from the Foundation for Health Leadership <br /> and Innovation (FHLI) for two new positions in the Housing Department— a Team Lead for the <br /> Housing Helpline and partial funding for a Housing Locator position (to be paired with ARPA <br /> funding authorized in FY 2021-22 to create a 1.0 full time equivalent (FTE) position). <br /> j. Second Amendment to the Development Agreement for the Construction of a Shared <br /> Government Facility at 203 South Greensboro Street, Carrboro, NC <br /> The Board approved the Second Amendment to a Development Agreement by and between <br /> the Town of Carrboro, NC and Orange County, NC for the design and construction of a jointly <br /> used government facility at 203 Greensboro Street in the Town of Carrboro. <br /> Regarding item 8-h, Bonnie Hammersley said section 13 regarding the Efland <br /> Emergency Services Substation needed more work, so she asked that the Board vote on <br /> sections 1 through 12 instead. <br /> Commissioner Bedford made a motion to approve item 8-h less section 13, and <br /> Commissioner McKee seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 9. County Manager's Report <br /> Bonnie Hammersley reminded the Board that they will be meeting with the schools on <br /> April 28, 2022 and it will be a facilitator led discussion. She said the facilitator will help have <br /> more discussion and there will be less staff presentations. She said the schools will not be <br /> presenting their budgets at that meeting. She said the goals are to have a conversation <br /> amongst the groups. <br /> 10.
