Revised 06/21 <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br />[Departmental Use Only] <br /> TITLE <br /> FY <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />CONTRACT UNDER $5,000.00 <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, is between Orange County, North Carolina, a body politic organized under <br />the laws of the State of North Carolina, (the "County"), and Landmark Management Partners LLC (the <br />"Provider"). <br /> <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br /> For the purpose and subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, the County hereby <br />contracts for the services of the Provider, and the Provider agrees to provide the services set out below to the <br />County in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, time being of the essence. <br />The services or materials or construction (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Services”) to be <br />furnished under this Agreement are as follows: Perform repairs as set forth on Exhibit A at the Solid Waste <br />Adminstration Building located at 1207 Eubanks Rd., Chapel Hill NC to include: <br />1.Paint Metal Doors: There are six (6) metal doors that are rusty and in need of new paint. Landmark <br />will lightly sand, prime, and paint the interior & exterior of these doors. Color TBD by owner. <br />2. Front Entrance Gutter Repair: There is an existing metal gutter along the front walk that s pills <br />over during large rain events. Landmark will adjust the gutter hangers to level the gutter edge elevations so <br />that water will not spill over the edges during rain. **It's possible that there are not enough drain holes on the <br />existing gutter. While weare completing the adjustment, we will evaluate to determine if more drain holes are <br />needed. <br />3. Gutter Repair - Recycling Building: The rear corner of the recycling building has a damaged soffit <br />& gutter. We will repair this section. <br /> <br />Services will include full project management, field supervision of all trades, project signage as <br />required, insurance, protection of existing finishes, temporary protection of public area when accessing the <br />project space, ongoing and final clean-up, deliveries and unloading, and safety measures. If required permit <br />to be obtained by owner. Standard warranties will apply. Utilities such as electrical, water, toilets will be <br />available for use during construction. Permits to be obtained from appropriate agencies, and inspections to be <br />coordinated by Contractor. County will remove all personal items from construction area prior to <br />commencement of work.. <br /> <br />The term of this agreement rendered shall be from May 30, 2022 to July 10, 2022. <br /> <br /> Provider represents and agrees that Provider is qualified to perform and fully capable of performing and <br />providing the services required or necessary under this Agreement in a fully competent, professional and <br />timely manner to the satisfaction of the County. Provider shall be responsible for all errors or omissions, in <br />the performance of the Agreement. Provider shall correct any and all errors, omissions, discrepancies, <br />ambiguities, mistakes or conflicts at no additional cost to the County. Provider agrees that Provider shall not <br />sub-contract any of the services to be provided in this Agreement, nor shall Provider assign any right or <br />responsibility granted or required by this Agreement, without the prior written approval of the County. <br /> <br />SPECIFIC TERMS <br /> <br />1. Payment: The County agrees to pay at the rates specified for Services satisfactorily (as <br />determined by the County) performed in accord with this Agreement. The amount to be paid by the County <br />shall not exceed Three Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety-Three Dollars , ($$3,493.00).
