25 <br /> Evaluation of 2017-22 MAP <br /> With the development of four Master Aging Plans <br /> and many years of community aging planning <br /> there was recognition and desire by the MAP <br /> Leadership Team and the Orange County Advisory <br /> Board on Aging to complete a formal evaluation of <br /> the 2017-22 MAP. With expertise in aging,as well <br /> as in program evaluation,the OCDOA engaged <br /> the UNC Partnerships in Aging Program to lead <br /> the evaluation of the 2017-2022 MAP.The goal of <br /> the three-part evaluation was to determine what ' <br /> worked well and what could be improved,with an . . <br /> aim to develop recommendations for the next five- <br /> year MAP. <br /> First,the Evaluation Team examined the quarterly <br /> tracking matrix documents to determine progress <br /> on the MAP indicators.At the end of year 4, <br /> workgroups representing all 8 domains had met _ <br /> 72%of indicators and made notable progress on ==� <br /> another 19%. No progress was made on 4%of the <br /> indicators,and the remaining 5%were deemed <br /> not feasible or no longer relevant. <br /> Second,the Evaluation Team conducted interviews <br /> with the workgroup leaders to better understand <br /> the implementation processes.Workgroup <br /> leaders found great pride in the work and their service provision across rural and urban areas <br /> accomplishments,especially around community of the county.The MAP facilitated individual <br /> collaboration. However, sustaining engagement and organizational learning, collaboration, <br /> with workgroup members and managing the accountability, and adaptability. <br /> scope of the work was challenging.
