Ms. Sharon Cook, a local area resident and spokesperson <br />for "Students on Sidewalks," was appointed by the BOCC to a Community representative position. The <br />Honorable Dorothy Verkerk, member of the Chapel Hill Town Council, was appointed by the Council to <br />the Town of Chapel Hill pasition.There remain seven vacant positions. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None at this time. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S) Consider appointing a BOCC member or designee to the Homestead and <br />High School Roads Safety Task Force and other appointments as appropriate, as the Board may <br />decide. <br />
