Repair of scientific or professional instruments and electric motors . <br /> c . Research and Development : Land use category associated with facilities <br /> focused primarily on the research and development of new products . This <br /> includes associated manufacturing operation (s ) for said products . <br /> Permitted uses include by way of example and not limitation the following : <br /> i . Laboratories , offices and other facilities used for research and <br /> development by or for any individual , organization or concern , <br /> whether public or private . <br /> ii . Prototype production facilities that manufacture a limited amount of <br /> a product in order to fully investigate the merits of such a product . <br /> iii . Pilot plants used to test manufacturing processes planned for use in <br /> production elsewhere . <br /> d . Warehousing / Distribution Services : Land use category associated with <br /> facilities involved in the storage or movement of goods for themselves or <br /> other firms . Goods are generally delivered to other firms or the final <br /> consumer with little on -site sales activity to customers . <br /> Permitted uses include by way of example and not limitation the following : <br /> i . Bulk storage , including nonflammable liquids , cold storage plants , <br /> including frozen food lockers , household moving and general freight <br /> storage , separate warehouse used by retail store such as furniture <br /> or appliance store . <br /> ii . Commercial packing for fruits and vegetables . <br /> iii . Distribution facility , central postal facility . <br /> iv . Freight , service facility . <br /> v . Parcel services . <br />
