<br />of the "pollution conditions" that is
<br />within the "boundaries" of the "covered
<br />location" where the discharge, dispersal,
<br />seepage, migration, release or escape of
<br />the "pollutants" commences.
<br />50. "Operator waste non-owned disposal site
<br />pollution conditions" means "non-owned
<br />disposal site pollution conditions" that
<br />are a discharge, dispersal, seepage,
<br />migration, release or escape of waste
<br />that originated from a "covered
<br />location".
<br />51. "Policy period" means the Policy Period
<br />shown in Item 2. of the Travelers ECP
<br />Custom Declarations.
<br />However, if this policy is canceled, the
<br />"policy period" ends on the effective
<br />date of the cancellation. If any coverage
<br />is added after this policy is in effect, in
<br />a coverage form or by endorsement
<br />issued by us as part of this policy,
<br />"policy period" for that coverage means
<br />the period in which such coverage form
<br />or endorsement is in effect. If any
<br />coverage of this policy or any coverage
<br />added by endorsement is cancelled, the
<br />"policy period" for that coverage ends
<br />on the effective date of the cancellation.
<br />52. "Pollutants" means any solid, liquid,
<br />gaseous or thermal irritant or
<br />contaminant, including smoke, vapor,
<br />soot, fumes, acids, alkalis, chemicals and
<br />waste. Waste includes materials to be
<br />recycled, reconditioned or reclaimed.
<br />53. "Pollution clean-up costs":
<br />a. Means:
<br />(1) Reasonable and necessary expenses
<br />incurred for "pollution conditions"
<br />to test for, monitor, clean up,
<br />remove, contain, treat, dispose of,
<br />detoxify or neutralize, or assess
<br />the effects of:
<br />(a) "Pollutants" to the extent
<br />required by "environmental
<br />laws" governing the "pollution
<br />conditions"; or
<br />(b) "Fungi" or bacteria:
<br />(i) To the extent required by
<br />"environmental laws"
<br />governing the "pollution
<br />conditions"; or
<br />(ii) In the absence of any
<br />applicable "environmental
<br />laws", to the extent
<br />recommended in writing by
<br />a Certified Industrial Hygienist
<br />or a certified or licensed
<br />mold professional; and
<br />(2) Reasonable and necessary expenses
<br />required to restore, repair or
<br />replace real or personal property
<br />of others to substantially the
<br />same condition as it was
<br />immediately before the "pollution
<br />conditions" if such property is
<br />damaged by or on behalf of the
<br />"insured" during the course of
<br />responding to "pollution conditions"
<br />by performing any operations
<br />described in Paragraph (1) above.
<br />b. Does not include any expenses
<br />incurred to perform medical
<br />monitoring for any "bodily injury".
<br />54. "Pollution conditions":
<br />a. For the purposes of any Contractors
<br />Pollution Liability Coverage, any
<br />Contractors Asbestos Pollution
<br />Liability Coverage, and any Non-
<br />Owned Disposal Site Pollution Legal
<br />Liability Coverage if the "non-owned
<br />disposal site pollution conditions" are
<br />"contractor waste non-owned disposal
<br />site pollution conditions", means:
<br />(1) The discharge, dispersal, seepage,
<br />migration, release or escape of
<br />"pollutants", provided that no part
<br />of such discharge, dispersal,
<br />seepage, migration, release or
<br />escape is expected or intended
<br />from the standpoint of the
<br />"insured"; or
<br />(2) "Fungi or bacteria conditions".
<br />b. For the purposes of any Site Pollution
<br />Liability Coverage, and any Non-
<br />Owned Disposal Site Pollution Legal
<br />Liability Coverage if the "non-owned
<br />disposal site pollution conditions" are
<br />"operator waste non-owned disposal
<br />site pollution conditions":
<br />(1) Means the discharge, dispersal,
<br />seepage, migration, release or
<br />escape of "pollutants".
<br />(2) Does not include the discharge,
<br />dispersal, seepage, migration,
<br />release or escape of any:
<br />(a) "Fungi" or bacteria; or
<br />(b) Virus or other microorganism
<br />that induces or is capable of
<br />inducing physical distress,
<br />illness or disease.
<br />55. "Pollution Liability Coverage" means any
<br />of the following:
<br />a. Contractors Pollution Liability Coverage;
<br />b. Site Pollution Liability Coverage;
