This enables us to evaluate where we stand in our commitment to <br /> sustainability and to identify the opportunities that will help us make more progress with <br /> climate action, resiliency and our transition to clean, renewable energy. <br /> This certification also acknowledges the hard work of our amazing staff, advisory boards <br /> and partnerships that work together to achieve the County's outstanding progress in <br /> instituting programs and policies aimed at promoting sustainability, social equity, <br /> economic resilience and quality of life. Celebrating our success and the progress we've <br /> made is important and will help fuel our continued efforts towards advancing and <br /> achieving our sustainability goals. <br /> Orange County is excited to join the nearly 200 cities and communities represented in <br /> almost 180 countries and territories across the globe participating in LEED. <br /> Orange County staff are working together with the Towns on a press release and a joint <br /> announcement which will be planned for late Spring. <br />
