Please describe how you will
engage with and/or educate
project participants.
Residents will have many opportunities to learn about energy efficiency
during the project. The team will also organize a Shadowing Day,
allowing residents interested in learning more about energy efficiency to
view the installation of a home retrofit in real time and ask questions to
ERS contractors.
Tamara will carry out house-to-house canvassing throughout the
neighborhood to inform residents about the project, determine the best
means of future engagement, as well as assess resident availability for the
workshop and educational sessions. Additionally, she and NCSEA will
interface with partner organizations on the structure and delivery of the
education events. This will include developing PowerPoints, creating
educational resources and integrating other local energy events/programs
available in the area into the presentation. Tamara will also be available
for communication support between the residents and partner
organizations through the project.
36.
