Exhibit A <br /> <br /> <br />Here is a list of Lands Legacy monitoring and stewardship tasks that Rich Shaw is expected to work on <br />for Orange County DEAPR in 2022-23. <br /> <br /> Assist the Land Conservation Manager on Lands Legacy projects as requested, including <br />providing relevant knowledge of previous projects, advising on the locations of physical <br />and digital files from previous projects, and other duties as assigned <br /> Prepare baseline documentation reports for new conservation easement properties <br /> Conduct annual site monitoring of the 40+ County-held conservation easements <br />(contact landowners, include other County/SWCD staff as needed, prepare site reports <br />for file, including photos from key corners/locations on property, etc.) <br /> Complete management and stewardship plans for certain County-owned nature <br />preserves/natural areas (e.g., Seven Mile Creek, McGowan Creek, New Hope Preserve) <br /> Mark the property boundaries for County-owned lands (paint on trees, boundary signs); <br />use the current standards for marking and/or re-marking boundaries <br /> Mark the boundaries for County held conservation easement (per landowner request); <br />use the current standards for marking and/or re-marking boundaries <br /> Post special signage on certain County-owned lands (as needed) that are not open for <br />public use (e.g., enter at own risk, hazards, not patrolled regularly, etc.) <br /> Maintain DEAPR’s tabular database of all conservation easements in Orange County <br />(140+ at last count and growing) and synching with Land Records/GIS database <br /> Walk trails on County properties and clear any fallen limbs/branches; report any <br />significant maintenance needs to Land Conservation Manager and/or Parks <br />Superintendent <br /> <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 58CBA9D3-D063-4B33-978D-43D23CC64193
