1.a. Status Report on Zoning Enforcement Challenges <br />This item provides an analysis of the current state of Zoning Code <br />Enforcement within Orange County. It is meant to be an update of a <br />previous memorandum issued by staff concerning this topic, outline <br />potential issues concerning the enforcement of zoning regulations, and <br />identify possible solutions to enforcement issues, <br />The purpose of the analysis is to inform the County Manager and County <br />Board of Commissioners: <br />1) Which violations are most common in occurrence, <br />2) Impact on the general health, safety, welfare, and the environment <br />of various violations, <br />3) Where (geographically) violations are known <br />4) The process of, and the degree of difficulty in, bringing violations <br />into compliance, <br />5) Where involvement of the County Attorney's office is required, and <br />6) Identifying problem areas and possible solutions with respect to <br />zoning enforcement issues. <br />Attachments: <br />Attachment 1: SUMMARY -Status Report on Zoning Enforcement in <br />Orange County (3 pages) <br />Attachment 2: Status Report on Zoning Enforcement in Orange <br />County (21 pages plus five appendices) <br />Attachment 3: RADAR Form (two pages plus chart) <br /> <br />
