ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING AND HONORING <br /> SCOTT TROMBLEY <br /> RETIRING CAPTAIN , CARRBORO FIRE - RESCUE DEPARTMENT <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS , in 1995 , Mr . Scott Trombley embarked on a career of public service <br /> by joining the Carrboro Fire - Rescue Department as a full -time firefighter ; and <br /> WHEREAS , Mr . Trombley made numerous contributions to the Carrboro Fire - <br /> Rescue Department and ultimately reached the rank of Captain ; and <br /> WHEREAS , throughout his professional career , Captain Trombley helped <br /> advance the Carrboro Fire - Rescue Department by creating and assisting with the <br /> implementation of a Community Risk Reduction program for the Carrboro Fire - <br /> Rescue Department ; and <br /> WHEREAS , through his dedication and service to the residents of Carrboro and <br /> the greater Orange County community , Scott Trombley directly contributed to <br /> creating a more safe and resilient Orange County ; and <br /> WHEREAS , Captain Scott Trombley is retiring from the Carrboro Fire - Rescue <br /> Department after serving the residents and visitors of Orange County for twenty- <br /> six years ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , we , the Orange County Board of Commissioners , do hereby <br /> recognize and express deep appreciation for the invaluable service of Scott <br /> Trombley to the Orange County community , and wish him well in his retirement . <br /> This the 3rd day of May , 2022 . <br /> r <br /> Renee Price , Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> ati� <br />
