2 <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Emergency Services utilized approximately $450 of operational funds to <br /> purchase the necessary supplies for this recognition effort. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is applicable to <br /> this item: <br /> • GOAL: CREATE A SAFE COMMUNITY <br /> The reduction of risks from vehicle/traffic accidents, childhood and senior injuries, gang <br /> activity, substance abuse and domestic violence. <br /> This item honors and recognizes the impacts of the County's fire service personnel. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There is no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal <br /> impact associated with this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br /> 1) Recognize the County's sixty-five (65) fire service personnel who have provided at least <br /> 20 years of service; and <br /> 2) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the attached proclamations honoring the <br /> accomplishments of the four (4) retiring firefighters. <br />
