He said the funds were <br /> 8 awarded in FY 2019-20, and funds continue to be spent down. <br /> 9 Chair Price asked if all of the money is dedicated already. <br /> 10 Travis Myren said the money was awarded in FY 2019-20 and the program is continuing <br /> 11 to spend down the intial $150,000 grant balance. <br /> 12 Commissioner Hamilton asked what year the $550,150 in Climate Mitigation Funds will <br /> 13 be available. <br /> 14 Travis Myren said it is projected to be available in FY 2022-23. <br /> 15 Commissioner Hamilton asked if that amount is new money, or also includes unspent <br /> 16 funds from the previous fiscal year. <br /> 17 Travis Myren said that amount is new. <br /> 18 Commissioner Hamilton asked if there is a way to see how much was unspent from the <br /> 19 previous year. <br /> 20 Travis Myren asked Gary Donaldson, Chief Finance Officer, for that amount. <br /> 21 Gary Donaldson and Travis Myren said the total project balance is $1.2 million, and <br /> 22 there are several projects in the pipeline where grants have been awarded but money has not <br /> 23 yet been drawn down. <br /> 24 Commissioner Greene clarified that she believes the Board wants to know the amount <br /> 25 from previous years that is uncommitted. <br /> 26 Travis Myren said staff will follow up with that information. <br /> 27 Chair Price said it was almost all committed, but the schools haven't spent all of their <br /> 28 grant money. <br /> 29 Commissioner Greene said she would like to know what school projects in the last round <br /> 30 of funding scored highly enough to be approved. <br />
