c . Grantee shall establish and maintain a system to record data that used the <br /> Model Data set and data dictionary as specified in "North Carolina <br /> College of Emergency Physicians : Standards for Medical Oversight and <br /> Data Collection . " <br /> d . Grantees shall maintain confidentiality of patient records as provided by <br /> the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) , <br /> Public Law 104491 , N . C . Gen . State 143 - 518 and all other state and <br /> federal law. <br /> e . Grantee shall submit a written monthly report to the Emergency Services <br /> iding the number of calls and runs during <br /> Director, or their designee , prov <br /> the month . The report shall contain the number of emergency calls , the <br /> number of convalescent calls , the total number of calls and the total <br /> number of patients transported . <br /> f. Grantee may inspect Grantee ' s records at any time in order to ensure <br /> compliance with the EMS Franchise Ordinance and this Franchise <br /> Agreement; however, Grantor ' s shall inspect the Grantee ' s records at least <br /> once a year to ensure compliance with the EMS Franchise Ordinance and <br /> this Franchise Agreement , <br /> Section 11 . Medical Oversight <br /> a. Grantee shall designate a representative of Grantee to attend and <br /> participate in regular meetings of the Orange County EMS Peer Review <br /> Committee . <br /> b . Grantee shall monitor and comply with any online medical direction for <br /> operating within EMT-P systems . <br /> the Grantor ' s plan for Medical Oversight and <br /> c . Grantee shall comply with <br /> Written Treatment Protocols . <br /> d .
