RES -2022 - 018 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> Resolution Authorizing Conveyance of Property to <br /> Another Unit of Government in North Carolina <br /> Pursuant to G . S . 160A-274 <br /> WHEREAS , Orange County owns a 2009 Peterbilt Frontend Loader VIN <br /> 3BPZLOOXX9F719122 (hereinafter "Front Load Unit # 1 ") and a 2009 Peterbilt Frontend <br /> Loader VIN 3 BPZXOEX I 9FT 19779 (hereinafter "Front Load Unit #2) ; and <br /> WHEREAS , North Carolina General Statute § 160A-274 authorizes a governmental unit <br /> in this state to exchange with, lease to , lease from, sell to , or purchase from any other <br /> governmental unit any interest in real or personal property upon such terms and <br /> conditions as the governmental unit deems wise , with or without consideration; and <br /> WHEREAS , Orange County has determined that it is in the best interest of the County to <br /> convey Front Load Unit # 1 and Front Load Unit #2 to The City of Rocky Mount, a North <br /> Carolina municipality, and deems it wise to do so for $ 60 , 000 for Front Load Unit # 1 and <br /> $ 60 , 000 for Front Load Unit #20, <br /> NOW THEREFORE , THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ORANGE COUNTY <br /> RESOLVES THAT . <br /> 1 . Orange County for and in consideration of the payment set forth below hereby <br /> authorizes the conveyance to The City of Rocky Mount of the following property . <br /> • one 2009 Peterbilt Frontend Loader Vehicle VIN 3BPZLOOXX9F719122 <br /> (Front Load Unit # 1 ) , and <br /> • one 2009 Peterbilt Frontend Loader Vehicle VIN 3BPZXOEX19FT19779 <br /> (Front Load Unit #2) ; <br /> 2 . The property herein described shall be conveyed for $ 60 , 000 for Front Load Unit <br /> # 1 and $ 60 , 000 for Front Load Unit #2 , being a total of $ 120 , 000 for both units ; <br /> and <br /> 3 .
