Applicant organization’s <br />Purpose/Mission (2-4 sentences): <br />The mission of Rebuilding Together of the Triangle (RTT) is repairing <br />homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. Our critical <br />home repairs and accessibility modifications make a sustainable <br />impact, ensuring vulnerable homeowners – including seniors, <br />individuals with disabilities, and families with children – live in safe, <br />healthy homes. <br /> <br />3. Please provide a brief description <br />of your organization’s past <br />achievements in carrying out similar <br />projects and evidence of successful <br />record of meeting proposed budgets <br />and timetables (2-4 sentences): <br />Applicants from the Orange County Home Preservation Coalition are <br />referred to RTT for comprehensive repair assessments. The resulting <br />work statements provide clarity regarding repair priorities, enabling <br />the Coalition to develop comprehensive, budgeted treatment plans <br />for each home repair. RTT directly repairs more than 100 homes each <br />year and has developed numerous partnerships around <br />environmentally sound home repairs/upgrades. As just one example, <br />RTT works in collaboration with the Ellerbe Creek Watershed <br />Association, the City of Durham and Durham County to provide <br />stormwater intervention and weatherization for eligible homeowners <br />to reduce runoff and improve water quality. <br /> <br />4.
