(S&ME), appreciates the opportunity to provide this work plan and cost estimate to conduct additional <br /> Remedial Investigation activities at the Hillsborough Dump site in Hillsborough, North Carolina. This work plan <br /> presents our understanding of the project,a proposed scope of services, an estimated project budget and <br /> schedule. These services will be performed according to the terms of the Consulting Services Agreement, dated <br /> April 15, 2019, between the Orange County and S&ME. We understand Orange County will issue a Task <br /> Authorization or Purchase Order as acceptance of this proposed work plan and cost estimate. <br /> Project Background <br /> The Hillsborough Dump is a closed, unlined PRLF that was owned and operated by the Town of Hillsborough and <br /> accepted municipal waste from the early 1940's to approximately 1975.
