Mr. Allison meets the requirements for commission membership outlined by <br />the Certified Local Government (GLG) program for preservation and/or related experience, <br />and resides within Qrange County's planning jurisdiction. <br />HPC members and Historic Preservation staff have been in contact with Mr, Allison and he is <br />interested in serving on the commission again. In addition to his understanding of the <br />history of the HPC, their mission, and their work on previous projects, Mr, Allison will bring <br />his considerable knowledge of local history to the commission. (Only one other applicant, <br />Michelle Kempinski, meets the CLG membership requirements. Ms. Kempinski is currently <br />serving on the Commission for the Environment and the Efland-Mebane Small Area Plan <br />Taskforce, but would like to be considered at a later date,) <br />Please convey this to the Board of County Commissioners for their consideration in August. <br />Mr. Allison would fill the seat vacated by Rob Golan, who resigned in April, <br />
