6 <br /> 9. Orange County Emergency Services has received additional grant funds totaling $12,695 <br /> from the N.C. Department of Crime Control and Public Safety related to the Emergency <br /> Management Performance Grant awards. The department plans to use these funds to <br /> assist in maintaining the comprehensive Emergency Management Program. Specifically, <br /> these funds will go towards contract services to revise the Orange County Emergency <br /> Operations Plan, training and education to support of emergency management and <br /> response personnel, and equipment acquisition to address response gaps. This budget <br /> amendment provides for the receipt of these grant funds, outside of the General Fund, and <br /> amends the following grant project ordinance: <br /> Emergency Management Performance Grant($12,695) - Project# 71049 <br /> Revenues for this project: <br /> Current FY 2021-22 FY 2021-22 <br /> FY 2021-22 Amendment Revised <br /> EM Performance Grant $538,323 $12,695 $551,018 <br /> Funds <br /> Total Project Funding $538,323 $12,695 $551,018 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Current FY FY 2021-22 FY 2021-22 <br /> 2021-22 Amendment Revised <br /> EM Performance Grant $538,323 $12,695 $551,018 <br /> Total Costs $538,323 $12,695 $551,018 <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br /> applicable to this item: <br /> • GOAL: CREATE A SAFE COMMUNITY <br /> The reduction of risks from vehicle/traffic accidents, childhood and senior injuries, <br /> gang activity, substance abuse and domestic violence. <br /> Health Department <br /> 10.The Orange County Health Department has received an award of $29,434 from Duke <br /> University to be used to supplement the salary and benefits of one (1) Human Services <br /> Program Manager to implement the North Carolina Integrated Care for Kids Model (NC <br /> InCK). The goal of NC InCK is to provide efficient, optimal physical and behavioral <br /> healthcare for children ages birth to 21 who receive services through North Carolina's <br /> Medicaid or Children's Health Insurance (CHIP) program. The award term is January 2022 <br /> to December 2022. This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these grant funds <br /> in the multi-year grants fund, and amends the following grant project ordinance: <br />
