16 <br /> 1 48)E-911 Funds — Support maintaining and broadening applications of the NC 9-1-1 Fund <br /> 2 to ensure that 9-1-1 systems are able to upgrade existing performance levels and pay <br /> 3 for 9-1-1 operations and 9-1-1 related upgrades such as infrastructure and technology <br /> 4 enhancements. Orange County has appreciated past efforts and supports future <br /> 5 initiatives to assure the public receives full access to emergency services from all <br /> 6 sources; and <br /> 7 <br /> 8 49)Dangerous Dogs Determinations — Support legislation to amend the NC Dangerous <br /> 9 Dog Law to allow dangerous-dog declarations to be revoked after a period of time, and <br /> 10 when there is substantial justification for doing so, in order that a dog does not <br /> 11 needlessly live its entire life with restrictions such as being muzzled.
