Circle of Welcome for Afghan Refugees- Set <br /> up digital tools for the group, helped family move in, held welcome tea to connect them to other Afghani <br /> families in the area. Volunteer teaching:Teach Sunday school for the past 10 years. Tutored kindergarten <br /> students weekly in the River Park Elementary School in 2013-2014. PORCH - Lead organizer for several <br /> years for PORCH where I publicized and collected food items and donations monthly in our downtown <br /> neighborhood to help food insecure people in northern Orange County. I delivered these items to Orange <br /> Congregations in Mission. Walkable Hillsborough -As a member of Walkable Hillsborough in the early <br /> 2000's we organized to advocate and encourage the town to build sidewalks and Riverwalk. We held an <br /> annual event to educate the public about making Hillsborough walkable. Voter Registration - Volunteered <br /> all over Orange County with non-partisan voter registration drives with You Can Vote and other <br /> organizations.
