Blythe, an 2130 <br />TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br />Hillsborough 732-8181 <br />Chapel Hill 9884501 <br />Durham 688-7331 <br />PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar <br />for year 2002. <br />BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-00, the Board of County <br />Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any emerge in <br />the Regular Meeting Schedule. The County Commissioners will change the beginning time of <br />the meeting scheduled for February 11j° to 6'.30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to go into <br />Closed Session 'to consider the qualifications, competence, character,fitness, conditions of <br />appointment. or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or <br />prospective public offil or employee' NCGS § 143-318.111a1(8). <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE <br />RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular <br />meeting calendar by changing the beginning time for the meeting scheduled for Monday, <br />February 1ls to 6:30 p.m. at the Government Services Center in Hillsborough.
