ORANGE COUNTY 019913-12 <br /> <br />Emergency Management Warehouse Building Dehumidification General Requirements for <br /> Divisions 23 and 26 Work <br /> <br /> <br />WIND LOADING 1 <br /> 2 <br />Delegated Design: Responsibility for the design of manufactured equipment and/or field-fabricated 3 <br />components installed outdoors to withstand wind loading, including comprehensive engineering analysis by 4 <br />a qualified professional engineer licensed in the State of North Carolina, using performance requirements 5 <br />and design criteria hereinafter specified, is delegated to the Contractor. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Performance Requirements and Design Criteria: 8 <br /> 9 <br />Equipment and/or field-fabricated components installed outdoors as part of Divisions 23 and 26 Work shall 10 <br />be fabricated and anchored to the ground or building structure, as applicable, to withstand a wind load 11 <br />imposed on the largest vertical or projected surface area, at maximum wind speed by the North Carolina 12 <br />State Building Code: Building Code for the Project location, in accordance with ASCE/SEI 7. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Outdoor piping and raceway shall be anchored by using a U-bolt, strap, or other hold-down device anchored 15 <br />at each support point. Equipment and other components shall be anchored by using structural frames, 16 <br />straps, or other hold-down devices anchored to foundations, structural supports, or roof curbs, as applicable. 17 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 <br />PATCHING 20 <br /> 21 <br />Repair, patching, and finishing of walls, floors, and/or ceilings affected by demolition, cutting after installation of new 22 <br />work, etc. shall be done by technicians skilled in the applicable trades and shall match surrounding or adjoining 23 <br />materials in composition, texture, color, and finish. 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br />CONTRACTOR AS-BUILT DRAWINGS 27 <br /> 28 <br />Maintain one set of marked-up paper copies of the Contract Drawings and Shop Drawings, incorporating new and 29 <br />revised drawings as modifications are issued. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Mark record prints to show the actual installation where installation varies from that shown originally. Require 32 <br />individual or entity who obtained record data, whether individual or entity is Installer, subcontractor, or similar entity, 33 <br />to provide information for preparation of corresponding marked-up record prints. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Give particular attention to information on concealed elements that would be difficult to identify or measure 36 <br />and record later. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Accurately record information in an acceptable drawing technique. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Record data as soon as possible after obtaining it. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Record and check the markup before enclosing concealed installations. 43 <br /> 44 <br />Cross-reference record prints to corresponding archive photographic documentation. 45 <br /> 46 <br />Types of items requiring marking include, but are not limited to, the following: 47 <br /> 48 <br />Dimensional changes. 49 <br /> 50 <br />Revisions to details. 51 <br /> 52 <br />Locations and depths of underground utilities. 53 <br /> 54 <br />Revisions to routing of piping and conduits. 55 <br /> 56 <br />Revisions to electrical circuitry. 57 <br /> 58 <br />Actual equipment locations. 59 <br />60 <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 7668B866-6C26-485C-9A45-DAAB5D4BD951
