ORANGE COUNTY 013100-4 <br /> <br />Emergency Management Warehouse Building Dehumidification Project Management and Coordination <br /> <br /> <br />The agenda shall include items of significance that could affect progress, including the following: 1 <br /> 2 <br />Designation of key personnel and their duties. 3 <br />Lines of communications. 4 <br />Procedures for processing field decisions and Change Orders. 5 <br />Procedures for RFIs. 6 <br />Procedures for testing and inspecting. 7 <br />Procedures for processing Applications for Payment. 8 <br />Distribution of the Contract Documents. 9 <br />Submittal procedures. 10 <br />Tentative construction schedule. 11 <br />Phasing. 12 <br />Critical work sequencing and long-lead items. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Monthly Progress Meeting: The Designer shall conduct a monthly meeting at the jobsite. These meetings shall be 15 <br />open to subcontractors, material suppliers and any others who can contribute toward maintaining required job 16 <br />progress. The Contractor be represented by both home office and project personnel. These representatives shall 17 <br />have authority to act on behalf of the Contractor. It shall be the purpose of these meetings to effect coordination, 18 <br />cooperation and assistance in maintaining progress of the project on schedule in order to complete the project within 19 <br />the contract time. The format of these meetings shall include the following: 20 <br /> 21 <br />Review minutes of last job conference and resolve all uncorrected problems. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Review of work in last and next 30 days. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Review the construction schedule and update when necessary. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Review of Designer’s Logs. (Submittals, RFI’s, RFP’s, Proposals) 28 <br /> 29 <br />Review any pending change orders or field orders. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Weekly Construction Meeting: Contractor shall schedule and conduct meetings and conferences at Project site for 32 <br />discussing progress of construction and coordination items. Contractor shall inform participants and others involved, 33 <br />and individuals whose presence is required, of date and time of each meeting. Notify Owner and Designer of 34 <br />scheduled meeting dates and times. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Prepare the meeting agenda and distribute to all invited attendees. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Review progress since the last meeting. Determine whether each activity is on time, ahead of schedule, or 39 <br />behind schedule, in relation to Contractor's construction schedule. Determine how construction behind 40 <br />schedule will be expedited; secure commitments from parties involved to do so. Discuss whether schedule 41 <br />revisions are required to ensure that current and subsequent activities will be completed within the Contract 42 <br />Time. 43 <br /> 44 <br />Record significant discussions and agreements achieved.
