ORANGE COUNTY 013100-1 <br /> <br />Emergency Management Warehouse Building Dehumidification Project Management and Coordination <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 013100 – PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION 1 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 <br />RELATED DOCUMENTS 7 <br /> 8 <br />Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Division-1 9 <br />specification sections, apply to work of this section. 10 <br /> 11 <br /> 12 <br />SUMMARY 13 <br /> 14 <br />This Section includes administrative provisions for coordinating construction operations on Project including, but not 15 <br />limited to, the following: 16 <br /> 17 <br />Coordination procedures. 18 <br />Coordination drawings. 19 <br />Requests for Information (RFIs). 20 <br />Request for Proposal (RFP). 21 <br />Project meetings. 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br />INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS 25 <br /> 26 <br />Subcontractor & Material Suppliers List: Prepare a written summary identifying individuals or firms proposed for each 27 <br />portion of the Work, including those who are to furnish products or equipment fabricated to a special design. Include 28 <br />the following information in tabular form: 29 <br /> 30 <br />Name, address, and telephone number of entity performing subcontract or supplying products. 31 <br />Number and title of related Specification Section(s) covered by subcontract. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Key Personnel Names: Prepare a list of key personnel assignments, including superintendent and other personnel in 34 <br />attendance at Project site. Identify individuals and their duties and responsibilities; list addresses and telephone 35 <br />numbers, including home, office, and cellular telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. Provide names, addresses, 36 <br />and telephone numbers of individuals assigned as alternates in the absence of individuals assigned to Project. 37 <br /> 38 <br /> 39 <br />GENERAL COORDINATION PROCEDURES 40 <br /> 41 <br />Coordination: Coordinate construction operations included in different Sections of the Specifications to ensure 42 <br />efficient and orderly installation of each part of the Work. Coordinate construction operations, included in different 43 <br />Sections, that depend on each other for proper installation, connection, and operation. 44 <br /> 45 <br />Schedule construction operations in sequence required to obtain the best results where installation of one 46 <br />part of the Work depends on installation of other components, before or after its own installation. 47 <br /> 48 <br />Coordinate installation of different components to ensure maximum performance and accessibility for 49 <br />required maintenance, service, and repair. 50 <br /> 51 <br />Make adequate provisions to accommodate items scheduled for later installation. 52 <br /> 53 <br />Administrative Procedures: Coordinate scheduling and timing of required administrative procedures with other 54 <br />construction activities to avoid conflicts and to ensure orderly progress of the Work.
