ORANGE COUNTY 260800-1 <br /> <br />Emergency Management Warehouse Building Dehumidification Testing and Placing in Service <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 260800 - TESTING AND PLACING IN SERVICE 1 <br /> 2 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL 3 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br />RELATED DOCUMENTS 6 <br /> 7 <br />Drawings and general provisions of contract, including general and supplementary conditions and Division-1 8 <br />Specification Sections, apply to work of this Section. 9 <br /> 10 <br /> 11 <br />WORK INCLUDED 12 <br /> 13 <br />Provide all material, equipment, labor and technical supervision to perform and complete the electrical acceptance 14 <br />tests in accordance with the requirements of this section for equipment installed as the Work of this contract. Notify 15 <br />A-E at least four (4) working days in advance of tests. 16 <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br />Perform Tests on the Following Equipment and/or in the following areas: 19 <br /> 20 <br /> <br />Cable Tests <br />Low Voltage ( 600 Volt) <br />Grounding <br />Overcurrent devices <br />Rotating Equipment <br /> 21 <br />DEFINITIONS 22 <br /> 23 <br />Measure: To obtain the requested system information by use of suitable instruments and to record this information in 24 <br />the appropriate section of the test report. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Repaired: Material or equipment that has been brought to new condition, retested and made to pass all required 27 <br />tests. 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br />QUALITY ASSURANCE 31 <br /> 32 <br />Perform tests to obtain required information in accordance with accepted industry procedures and/or in accordance 33 <br />with manufacturer's recommendations. Should manufacturer's recommendations conflict with these specifications, 34 <br />notify A-E. Do not proceed with tests until directed by A-E. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Material or equipment failing tests shall be repaired or replaced at the Contractor's expense. 37 <br /> 38 <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for all tests and for documentation of test data. Testing shall be performed by or 39 <br />under the immediate supervision of the Contractor. 40 <br /> 41 <br /> 42 <br /> PART 2 - PRODUCTS 43 <br /> 44 <br /> 45 <br />The Contractor shall employ testing devices as required to accomplish specified testing herein and as described 46 <br />elsewhere in the Contract Documents. 47 <br /> 48 <br />Test Equipment Suitability: The test equipment used by the Contractor shall be suitable for the intended 49 <br />tests and shall comply with ANSI/NETA ATS-2009, Section 5.2. 50 <br /> 51 <br />Test Equipment Calibration: The test equipment used by the Contractor shall be suitable for the intended 52 <br />tests and shall comply with ANSI/NETA ATS-2009, Section 5.3. 53 <br /> 54 <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 7668B866-6C26-485C-9A45-DAAB5D4BD951
