(ANSI/MSS) standards as referenced hereinafter. Mark valves in accordance with MSS 25. 17 <br /> 18 <br />ASME Compliance: 19 <br /> 20 <br />ASME B16.10 and ASME B16.34 for ferrous valve dimensions and design criteria. 21 <br /> 22 <br />ASME B31.9 for building services piping valves. 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br />SUBMITTALS 26 <br /> 27 <br />General: Submittals shall demonstrate compliance with technical requirements by reference to each subsection of 28 <br />this specification. Where a submitted item does not comply fully with each and every requirement of the 29 <br />Specifications, the submittal shall clearly indicate such deviations. Identification requirements for non-complying 30 <br />features of items are very specific. See Section 019913 for exact requirements. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Manufacturer's Data: Submit manufacturer's technical product data, including installation instructions for each type of 33 <br />valve. 34 <br /> 35 <br /> 36 <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS 37 <br /> 38 <br /> 39 <br />GENERAL 40 <br /> 41 <br />Valve Types: Provide valves of same type, provided by same manufacturer throughout. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Sizes: Unless otherwise indicated on the Drawings, provide valves of same size as upstream pipe size. 44 <br /> 45 <br />Operators: Provide handwheels, fastened to valve stem, for valves other than quarter-turn. Provide lever handle for 46 <br />quarter-turn valves 6" and smaller, other than plug valves. Where quarter turn valves are used for balancing 47 <br />purposes, provide memory stops. Where valves 6" and larger are located more than 8 feet AFF, provide chain 48 <br />operators. 49 <br /> 50 <br /> 51 <br />HVAC WATER SYSTEMS VALVES 52 <br /> 53 <br />General: Water systems valves shall be rated at not less than 125 psig WOG at 240-deg.
