ORANGE COUNTY 230510-1 <br /> <br />Emergency Management Warehouse Building Dehumidification HVAC Basic Requirements <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 230510 – HVAC BASIC REQUIREMENTS 1 <br /> 2 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL 3 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br />RELATED DOCUMENTS 6 <br /> 7 <br />Drawings and general provisions of Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Division-1 8 <br />Specification sections, apply to work of this section. 9 <br /> 10 <br />The requirements specified herein shall govern all Sections in Division 23, whether stated therein or not. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Where items specified in the other sections of this Division conflict with requirements of this Section, the former shall 13 <br />govern. 14 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br />SUBMITTALS 17 <br /> 18 <br />Submittals shall be made in strict accordance with the requirements of Section 019913. Specific submittal 19 <br />requirements are defined in each section of this Division. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Submit Welder’s and Brazer’s Qualifications in accordance with Section 019913. Welders’ and Brazers’ 22 <br />Qualifications: Operators who are to do the welding and/or brazing must be properly qualified to do satisfactory work. 23 <br />Proof of an operator's qualifications shall be either the Contractor's record of suitable tests passed within 24 <br />the preceding six months while in the employ of the Contractor, or tests made before the start of work. 25 <br />Submit qualification data for each operator prior to their starting work. Any workman considered by the A-E as not 26 <br />having the skill necessary for the work shall be required to pass an appropriate qualification test or shall be at once 27 <br />barred from further welding and/or brazing on the project. 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br />EQUIPMENT SELECTION 31 <br /> 32 <br />Pump heads and fan static pressures indicated on the Drawings are for estimating purposes and are based on the 33 <br />individual equipment losses as indicated.
