<br /> <br />12 <br />Revised 9/8/2021 <br />(ii) At least 7 days prior to release: <br /> any press release or media advisory concerning the outcome of activities <br />supported through this award. <br /> all media interviews, media requests, releases of information, filming, and <br />broadcasts. <br />(b) For 1 year after completion of the project, the Recipient shall continue to submit for <br />review and comment all publications, presentations, and communications re sulting from <br />this award or based on information obtaine d through this award, including papers, articles, <br />professional publications, power point presentations, posters, speeches, a nnouncements, <br />and testimony in any format, including digital technology. <br />(c) It is the policy of the Department of Health and Human Services that the Recipient must <br />communicate to CMS how the dollar amounts and funding percentages are calculated, <br />including whether or not indirect costs have been incorporated. Recipient must submit this <br />information to CMS for review and comment for each applicable type of <br />result/accomplishment according to the same timeline schedule outlined in 17(a). <br />(d) Specifically excluded from the review and comment process are internal presentations, <br />information discussions, in general, class lectures, and informal meetings and <br />conversations with community leaders. However, if such a presentation or slide deck is <br />later re-purposed for a public event, it will need to be submitted in advance for CMS <br />review. <br />(e) One copy of each publication resulting from work performed under an HHS grant- <br />supported project must accompany the final progress report. <br /> <br />18. Use of Data and Work Products. At any phase of the project, including the project’s <br />conclusion, the Recipient, if so requested by the CMS Project Officer, s hall submit copies of <br />analytic data file(s) with appropriate documentation, representing the data developed/used in <br />end-product analyses generated under the award. The analytic file(s) may include primary <br />data collected, acquired or generated under the award and/or data furnished by CMS. The <br />content, format, documentation, and schedule for production of the data file(s) will be agreed <br />upon by the Principal Investigator/Project Director and the CMS Project Off icer. The <br />negotiated format(s) could include both file(s) that would be limited to CMS’s internal use and <br />file(s) that CMS could make available to the general public. <br /> <br />All data provided by CMS will be used for the research described in this grant award only and <br />in connection with the Recipient’s performance of its obligations and rights under this <br />program. Recipient has an obligation to collect and secure data for future monitoring by <br />CMS. The Recipient will return any data provided by CMS or copies of data at the conclusion <br />of the project. All proprietary information and technology of the Recipient are a nd shall <br />remain the sole property of the Recipient. <br /> <br />In the course of this research, whenever the Principal Investigator/Project Director determines <br />that a significant new finding has been developed, he/she will communicate it to the CMS <br />Project Officer before formal dissemination to the general public. The R ecipient shall notify <br />CMS of research conducted for publication. <br /> <br />19. System of Award Management and Universal Identifier Requirements . This award is <br />subject to the requirements of 2 CFR part 25, Appendix A which is specifically incorpora ted <br />herein by reference.
