Equity Audit/Strategic Plan Development <br /> Dr. Hamlett said the strategic plan expired in December of 2021, but they have been <br /> given permission to slow down and restart the process. She said they are working with a <br /> partner called Insight Education Group. She said they worked through an equity audit that <br /> consisted of focus groups and a deep dive into data review. She said they concluded that part <br /> of the work on February 11 and that the draft results will be available in early March 2022. She <br /> said those results will inform action steps. She said a steering committee plays a critical role in <br /> drafting the strategic plan and developing core values, mission, and vision. She said that they <br /> are meeting with community stakeholder groups. She said the Board has been doing work on <br /> the mission and vision. She said they will continue to work with the partners and the strategic <br /> steering committee. She said in Winter 2021, the district commissioned an equity assessment to <br /> evaluate the district's overall academic program, policies and practices. She said that was <br /> Phase 1. She said the next phase will focus on the district's budget and finances. She said the <br /> methodology included a staff and student survey, focus groups, and a review of artifacts. <br />
