Equity Audit/Strategic Plan Development 4 5 Dr. Hamlett said the strategic plan expired in December of 2021, but they have been 6 given permission to slow down and restart the process. She said they are working with a partner 7 called Insight Education Group. She said they worked through an equity audit that consisted of 8 focus groups and a deep dive into data review. She said they concluded that part of the work on 9 February 11 and that the draft results will be available in early March 2022. She said those 10 results will inform action steps. She said a steering committee plays a critical role in drafting the 11 strategic plan and developing core values, mission, and vision. She said that they are meeting 12 with community stakeholder groups. She said the Board has been doing work on the mission 13 and vision. She said they will continue to work with the partners and the strategic steering 14 committee. She said in Winter 2021, the district commissioned an equity assessment to 24 evaluate the district's overall academic program, policies and practices. She said that was 25 Phase 1. She said the next phase will focus on the district's budget and finances. She said the 26 methodology included a staff and student survey, focus groups, and a review of artifacts. 27 Slide #3
