Hb.) <br />There being no further business to come before the Board this meeting was <br />adjourned with the Commissioners having to meet again on Tuesday, May 29th, at 11 <br />o'clock a.m. for the purpose of canvasing the votes cast in the Special Election for <br />Supplemental Tax in the Chapel Hill School District. <br />Betty June Hayes, Clerk <br />Donald Stanford, Chairman <br />Minutes of the Board of Commissioners <br />May 29, 1962 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, May 29, 1962, at 10:30 <br />o'clock a.m. for the purpose of canvassing the votes cast in the Special Election <br />for Supplental Tax in the Chapel Hill School District. Said election being held <br />on Saturday, May 26, 1962. <br />Members present: Chairman Donald Stanford, Commissioners Clarence Jones, <br />Donald McDade and Henry Walker. <br />Members absent: Commissioner Harvey Bennett. <br />The canvas revealed the following results by precincts. <br />ABSTRACT OF VOTES CAST AT A SPECIAL ELECTION FOR SUPPLEMENTAL TAX IN THE CHAPEL HILL <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT,.
