He said the county invites the towns to participate for <br /> 12 coordination, but it is not necessary. <br /> 13 Commissioner Bedford asked how it works with municipalities split across counties, such <br /> 14 as Mebane. <br /> 15 John Roberts, County Attorney, said those municipalities usually do not participate and <br /> 16 issue their own orders. <br /> 17 Commissioner Bedford said that it could be a conflict for those municipalities that are <br /> 18 split between counties that have differing rules. <br />
