It the <br />County does not comment on the proposed nomination by February 14, 2002, fie CounryS <br />approval is assumed. <br />In accordance with CLG guidelines, the Historic Preservation Commission is required to provide <br />an opportunity for public comment during the 51 period. To meet this requirement, the <br />Historic Preservation Commission held a public hearing at their meeting on January 30, 2002. <br />Notices of Public Hearing were published in accordance with the Historic Preservation <br />Ordinance and letters were sent via cenified mail to all property owners within Soo feel of the <br />property being nominated t0 the National Register. (The Notice of Public Hearing is provided as <br />Attachment #4). <br />Eliglbtity for the National Register is determined by a thorough evaluation of the historic <br />qualities and significance of a site structure, or area. Natural Registers nominations are <br />evaluated based on the following criteria: <br />
