EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />5410 Trinity Road <br />Suite 102 <br />Raleigh, NC 27607 <br />P 919.866.4951 <br />F 919.859.5663 <br />www.timmons.com <br />factors arise that could jeopardize the long-term success of the project, Timmons may elect to <br />consult with a licensed soil scientist about in-situ soils and design options. This service will be <br />discussed and proceed only with the written approval of the County. <br />Task 2 – Hydrology & Conceptual Design ($6,141.25) <br />1.Delineate contributing drainage areas using survey and NC LiDAR data from NC FRIS. <br />2.Construct a hydrologic model for design storms (water quality, 1-, 2-, 5-, 10-, 25-, and 100-year) <br />using local and NOAA rainfall data, soils information from NRCS Soil Survey, and existing land <br />cover from County GIS to calculate design flows and volumes with HEC-HMS, HydroCAD or <br />similar software program. <br />3.Perform wetland design in accordance with the MDCs for Stormwater Wetlands and the NC <br />Stormwater Design Manual and within site constraints. <br />4.Utilize hydrologic model to perform hydraulic routing of design storms through the proposed <br />wetland design. <br />5.Submit the conceptual design and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling summary to the County for <br />review and comment. <br />Task 3 – Final Design Package ($6,141.25) <br />1.Incorporate County comments and finalize design. <br />2.Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications and bid documents, and <br />Operations and Maintenance Plan. Plan Sheets are expected to include: <br />a.Cover Sheet <br />b.Existing Conditions <br />c.Proposed Conditions <br />d.Grading Plan <br />e.Planting Plan <br />f.Erosion Control Plan <br />g.Details <br />3.Prepare Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Construction Cost. <br />4.Submit final construction package to the County. <br />5.Submit for required permits. <br />6.Respond to agency and permitting authority comments and obtain necessary permits (except <br />for noted exclusions). <br />Task 4 - Construction and As-built Phase ($6,141.25) <br />1.Provide bid and construction services as requested by the County on a time and material basis <br />following the rate schedule provided as Exhibit C. <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 55727B68-1DEF-4F9C-8CC8-C77A0A8B2148
