<br /> White Cross Fire Department
<br /> 10.The White Cross Fire Department has requested a portion ($20,000) of the district's
<br /> available, unassigned fund balance to offset unanticipated change orders and inflation-
<br /> related prices increases related to its new fire engine and related equipment purchase. The
<br /> BOCC approved the loan agreement for this fire engine at the September 2, 2021 Business
<br /> meeting. With this appropriation, approximately $25,731 remains in the district's
<br /> unassigned fund balance or 3.9% of budgeted expenditures. This budget amendment
<br /> provides for the appropriation of $20,000 from the district's fund balance for the above
<br /> stated purpose. (See Attachment 2.)
