Pursuant to the Orange County's Code of Ordinances, Part I, Chapter 14, Article II, <br /> Sec. 12-31, and as authorized by Chapter 166A of the North Carolina General Statues, the <br /> previous State of Emergency declared on February 17, 2021 is hereby rescinded within the <br /> jurisdiction of Orange County,North Carolina and all included towns. <br /> Section 2. The Orange County Manager is further directed to: (a) distribute this rescission to the <br /> news media and other organizations calculated to bring its contents to the attention of the general <br /> public; (b) file this declaration with the Clerk to the Orange County Board of Commissioners and <br /> display a copy prominently on the Orange County website; (c) distribute the declaration as <br /> necessary to ensure its full implementation; and(d) submit a signed copy of this Declaration to <br /> the Department of Public Safety WebEOC. <br /> Section 3. This rescission shall become effective immediately.
