The Commission decided to <br />research the impact of affordable housing on women in Orange County and report its results in <br />a publication entitled: Orange County Commission for Women Status of Women Report 2002 - <br />Housing Affordability far Women in Orange County, Data in the 2002 Report reveals that while <br />Orange County has made significant effort to address the issue of housing affordability it is still <br />prescient and has a profotand impact on women's overall economic well-being, The <br />Commission will distribute the report to libraries, agencies and non-profits that serve women in <br />Orange County and surrounding areas. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with the presentation of the <br />report, <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board receive the presentation <br />on the 2002 Status of Women Report and provide any feedback or comments to staff, <br />
