Stan is planning b comad Me <br />Soler Center, at North Carolina Stale University, to discuss possible options. <br />In addition to replacement d Me wastewater treatment system, Me Public Work; <br />Department has aesesced the facility and Identified a list d pouilbfe <br />improvements. The maldiq of Me;e adivales have been identified as needs In <br />Past Capital Investment Plana. Attachment XI Is a list Of Mase proposed <br />improvements. However, the five mast critical improvements are to: <br />1. Relocate or expand the existing wastewater treatment system <br />it. Replace Ma HVAC system (research agerrus ve/energy efficient systems) <br />III. Replace the windows and exterior doors and locks (mvesilgam solar <br />possibilities) <br />N. Replace the mot (after ft 10.year warranty expires in 2004, included in <br />the C/P Roofing Reserve Account) <br />V. Secure a new well, water distribution system, holding tanks, ate. (research <br />feasibilly a Solar water heating system design) <br />Staff will research HVAC allamative / energy efficient systems which may W <br />suitable for Me NHSC. A recommendation will be brought to the Board as soon <br />as available. The rod replacement Is Included in Me CIP. The above-referenced <br />items are considered essential in order to make the building habitable, suitable <br />for expanded use and functional. Several amenities have been proposed -contingent upon <br />surreys, soli analysis, sib plans and publidcommunity input through park design <br />meetings.
