Coker <br />Coker Composting & Consulting <br />3 <br /> <br />City of Edmond, Composting Feasibility Study, Edmond, Oklahoma <br />This project consisted of a comprehensive feasibility study (2009-2010) of options for <br />composting source-separated organic solid waste in Edmond, Oklahoma, a suburban city <br />of 80,000 north of Oklahoma City. The study evaluated potential feedstocks to a <br />composting facility (yard trimmings, food scraps, and biosolids), alternative composting <br />configurations (windrow, aerated static pile and in-vessel), alternative siting evaluations <br />(on City-owned land), product market evaluations for compost, public education and <br />outreach needs, permitting and approval requirements, preparation of detailed capital and <br />operating cost estimates, and presentations to stakeholders, interested citizens and City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Incorporating Food Scraps into Yard Waste Composting Facilities. ILSR, <br />Washington, DC <br />These two 2011 projects, one at the Balls Ford Rd. Composting Facility in Prince <br />William County, VA and the other at the Atkinson Way Composting Facility in Newport <br />News, VA examined the design, operations and permitting implications of accepting <br />source-separated organics (mostly food scraps) at two existing yard waste composting <br />facilities in Virginia. <br /> <br />Yard Waste Composting Facility, Spotsylvania County, Livingston, VA <br />This project involved providing process design support, equipment evaluations, and <br />economic pro formas to the County’s solid waste engineering consultant and County staff <br />for a 10,000 ton/year yard waste composting facility at the County landfill. <br /> <br />Yard Waste Composting Facility, City of Portsmouth, VA <br />This project involved providing process design support, equipment evaluations, and VA <br />DEQ permit applications to the City’s solid waste engineering consultant and City staff <br />for a 20,000 ton/year yard waste composting facility at the Craney Island landfill. <br /> <br />Food Scraps Composting Facility, Black Bear Composting , Crimora, VA <br />Work has included siting evaluation and selection (2010), permitting applications and <br />support (2010-2011), process and site design (2011), operations support and <br />troubleshooting (2012-present) for a 4,000 ton/yr turned windrow composting facility <br />processing food scraps from schools and residences. <br /> <br />Rotary Drum Composting Facility, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA <br />Work included evaluation of technical feasibility and permitting implications for a rotary <br />drum composting facility at VCU handling campus food scraps (2011). <br /> <br />Biosolids Extended Aerated Static Pile Composting Facility, McGill Environmental <br />Systems, Waverly, VA <br />This work effort (2004-2006) included site evaluation and selection, obtaining a permit <br />from the VA Dept. of Health, preparing a New Source Review Potential to Emit analysis, <br />and assisting in the preliminary design of this 80,000 ton/year facility. <br /> <br />Process and Site Design for Windrow & ASP Composting Facility, Blue Hen <br />Organics LLC, Frankford, DE <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 09434BEC-1F7E-41E5-A9D1-4CA5D7ECE339DocuSign Envelope ID: 730B0EA2-D934-4504-B42A-928DAE22F3FBDocuSign Envelope ID: C1C843D1-0612-4ACA-B0CC-D3438AF3B3FA
