There are two applicants forthese positions. <br />Michelle Lewis, who recently resigned from the CHBOA, recruited Lawrence A. Herst <br />from her neighborhood to take her place. <br />Emma Jean Levi, who resides in the JPA, has been recommended by Mayor Kevin Foy. <br />The CHBOA is experiencing a quorum problem per Kay Tapp, CHBOA Clerk, and needs <br />these appointments soon. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Make the following two appointments to the Chapel Hill Boartl of <br />Adjustment Mr. Lawrence A. Herst to fill the unexpired term of Ms. Michelle A. Lewis as an <br />ETJ representative, and Ms. Emma Jean Levi to the JPA position, both terms to expire June 30, <br />2004.
