DocuSign Envelope ID: 13C053B7-BCBO-41FF-A50D-F94CB1F04810 <br /> • Secure approvals from the Authority Having Jurisdiction <br /> • Provide opinion of probable cost <br /> • One(1) design collaboration meeting with consulting engineer. <br /> • Two(2) meetings with owner to review progress and ask questions. <br /> Bid Coordination: <br /> • Lead and administer bidding and negotiation process. <br /> • Lead on-site pre-bid conference. <br /> • Answer RFI's and issue addendums as needed. <br /> Construction Administration: <br /> • CA services are estimated to be 16 weeks and will include the following. <br /> • In conjunction with owner, review construction schedule and consult with project team on goals, <br /> milestones,and deadlines. <br /> • Review and approve all shop drawings, project data and samples for compliance with contract <br /> documents. <br /> • Make bi-weekly visits to project site to observe progress and provide field reports.Scope <br /> assumes up to five(8)site visits.Consulting engineers to make two(4)site visits. <br /> • Render interpretations and clarifications required to ensure proper execution of the work. <br /> • Review proposed change orders and assist in processing them for approval. <br /> • Review and approve all progress payments to contractor. <br /> • Design team punch list walk through with GC. <br /> Mechanical, electrical, plumbing,and fire protection design scope includes: <br /> • Plumbing <br /> o Plumbing design includes demolition and relocation of existing break room sink. <br /> o Restrooms and janitor sink are existing to remain, no work included. <br /> • Mechanical <br /> o Mechanical design includes any above ceiling work to support new space layout. <br /> Assumed to be diffuser relocation or adds,depending on layout. No new capacity <br /> assumed. <br /> • Electrical <br /> o Electrical design includes adding or relocating light fixtures and power/data as required <br /> to support new space layout areas only. <br /> o Data center is existing to remain, no work included. <br /> • Fire protection <br /> o Fire protection design will be limited to detailing the existing sprinkler heads, heads to <br /> be removed,and location of new heads. Hydraulic calculations are not included.These <br /> will be the responsibility of the sprinkler contractor. <br /> o Sprinkler flow test will be required for permitting.Assumes Orange County will provide <br /> this test to the designer <br /> • Fire alarm <br /> o Fire alarm design as required by code. Final preparation of shop drawings will be the <br /> responsibility of the fire alarm contractor. <br /> We have excluded structural engineering services at this time. If structural engineering services are <br /> required,we can provide services through our subconsultant at an hourly rate. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1.
