StaffReport-Reba and Roses, Inc. <br />To: Board of County Commissioners <br />From: Craig Benedict, Planning Director <br />Dale: 1129/01 <br />Re: Staff Report on Reba and Roses, Inc. Request for Extension to <br />Special Use Permit, Class A <br />On February 12, 1996, a Special Use Permit, Class A (SUP) was issued for <br />Reba and Roses, Inc, for the purpose of operating a gift and garden <br />shop/greenhouse. A Special Use Permit, Class A far Historic Sites Non- <br />ResidentletlMixed Use is valid for six (6) years, but may be renewed or re- <br />approved by the Board of Commissioners after receiving a report from the <br />Planning Department that the use is, and has been continuously since it was <br />Issued, in compliance with the provisions of the Special Use Permit. <br />Conditions of Approval - February 12, 1996 <br />The Special Use Permit is subject to the following conditions to be mat within <br />sixty (60) days after this Special Use Permit is issued for the use and <br />development of the property hereinafter described: <br />1. Assessment of structural integrity of all structures shall be conducted by <br />a registered engineer. This assessment shall be provided to the Orange <br />County Inspections Division for its review. This assessment may be <br />relied upon by the Orange County Inspections Division in Its permitting of <br />the structures. <br />On August 23, 1996, David Cates, P.E., certified an assessment of the <br />structural integrity of all structures. <br />2. All structural and physical handicapped accessibility lmprovementsto the <br />structures shall be made in accoMance with Federal requirements and <br />State Building Codes and must be approved by the Orange County <br />Inspections Division. <br />Inspections Staff inspected and approved structures on August 23, 1996.
