Ms. Baldwin <br />indicated her concern about having to obtain approval every 6 years. As <br />indicated previously under Future Requests, staff is currently working on e <br />reclassification to determine the zoning parameters under which uses such as <br />these should operate. Several others spoke in favor of the proposal and no one <br />spoke in opposition. (Draft minutes are attached on page 36.) <br />• Planning Boartl: <br />• Unanimously recommended renewal of the Special Use Permit at its December <br />5, 2001 meeting with the proposed conditions. (Draft minutes are attached on <br />page 38.) <br />• Some members did not believe that screening of the outdoor storage/stockpiling <br />area was necessary due to the nature of the business. <br />Board of County Commissioners: <br />• BOCC to consider all evidence presented at joint public hearing and any new <br />evidence that was considered by the Planning Boartl in making Its <br />recommendation. <br />Option 1: Clone the Public Heading and Approve the renewal of the <br />Special Use Permit with the attached conditions. <br />Option 2: Close the Public Hearing and deny the renewal of the <br />Special Use Permit. <br />Option 3: Leave the Public Hearing open and table decision to fuWre <br />meeting date. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no direct public financial impact with this decision item. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Administration Rd fi : Approval of the <br />renewal of the existing Special Use Permit, Class A in <br />accordance with the attached Resolution of Approval.
