22 <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />A public hearing will be held In the Judge F. Gordon Battle Superior Courtroom of the <br />New Orange County Courthouse, 106 E. Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, North Carolina, <br />on Monday, November 26, 2001, at 7:30 PM for the purpose of giving all interested <br />citizens an opportunityto speak for or against the following item: <br />A. ZONING ATLAS AMENDMENT <br />Andrew B. and Cannella C. Lloyd petition for a zoning atlas amendment as <br />follows: <br />Location: At the northeast intersection of ML Willing Road and NO Ten <br />West adjacent to 140/85 <br />From: AR (Agricultural Residential) with adjacent 15&Upper Eno <br />Critical Area <br />To: EC-5 (Existing Commercial- 5) & Upper Eno Cdkcal Area <br />Size: 1.30 i acres <br />TMBL: 3.45..8 <br />Pub: The ordinance allows the reorientation of EC-5 zoned property <br />that was taken for a public purpose. A portion of the subject property was <br />taken when improvements were made to Mount Willing Road and NO 10 <br />West. This petition is a request to allow the reestablishment of the <br />originally-sized (plus 10%) E05 property on a contiguous parcel. <br />B. SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />Renewal of Spacial Use Permit, Class A (01-95) for Reba and Roses, Inc. <br />Special Use Permits issued for historical sites only last six years. Reba and <br />Roses, Inc. received approval for a Class A Special Use Permit to operate a <br />gift and garden shop/greenhouse on February 12, 1996 from the Orange <br />County Boartl of Commissioners. This proposal is for a renewal of that <br />Special Use Permit. The property totals 56.24 acres and is located at 112 <br />Baldwin Road (Tax Map 5.14..21 & 21A). <br />Changes may be made in the advertised proposals that reflect debate, objections <br />and discussion at the hearing. - <br />Accommodations for Individuals with physical disabilities can be provided if the <br />request is made to the Director of Planning at least 46 hours prior to the Public <br />Hearing by calling the appropriate number listed below.
