With Budget Amendment #5-B, the Board authorized funding for a Housing Coordinated <br /> Entry Specialist with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. However, the amendment <br /> did not include language increasing the FTE of that position along with that allocation of <br /> funding. This amendment corrects that error and increases the position authorization for <br /> that FTE to a 1.000 Housing Coordinated Entry Specialist Time Limited FTE through June <br /> 30, 2022. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts are included in the background information above. The <br /> Community Development Fund will increase by $38,860, the Emergency Recovery Fund will <br /> decrease by $407,543, and the County Capital Fund will increase by $407,543. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There are no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal <br /> impacts associated with this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the budget amendment <br /> for Fiscal Year 2021-22. <br />
